How to recycle methanol wastewater?
The combination of artificial immobilized biological activated carbon technology and other water treatment can effectively remove the low concentration methanol in the process condensate of the fertilizer plant and the urea hydrolysis water.
(1) The system can reduce the COD of the mixture from 40 mg/L to less than 12 mg/L, and the removal rate is above 70%.
(2) The system can reduce the methanol in the mixture from 5.90 to 6.89 mg/L to 0-0.61 mg/L, and the removal rate reaches 93.6%-100%.
(3) The treated water quality can meet the water inflow requirements of the desalination system, and the reuse of such wastewater can bring significant economic benefits to the enterprise.
